Khawalung Foundation

The Khawalung Foundation is a registered foundation in New York founded by Jigme Dorje Rinpoche in 2007. It is a nonprofit charitable organization that is managed under the Khawalung Monastery in Nepal. The foundation in USA is dedicated to preserving, upholding and disseminating the general Buddhist teaching and particularly the distinct tradition of Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhism, including the treasure teaching (Terma) of H.H Dilgo Khentse Rinpoche and spread these teaching with compassion all over the world. At the same time, helps Himalaya proverty area develop education and health care. Khawalung foundation wishes to raise fund for the monks in Khawalung Monastery in Nepal to provide them food, lodging, education and healthcare.
